Terramar finds himself conflicted when his mother, the queen, continues to live beneath the waves while his father, the king, lives on Mount Aris. The young hippogriff is left asking the question: where do I belong? So this song is one of the many that I put off for the longest time - and I'm actually glad I did. If I hadn't I wouldn't have the amazing opportunity of working with Koron. I always enjoyed listening to the songs he put out on his youtube channel - especially his cover of "Thought I'd Let You Know" by 4everfreebrony, that one's my absolute favorite - so imagine how I felt when he agreed to record some violin parts for the song. I felt guilty throughout the process of making the song as it always seemed like I was overly picky when it came to the violin track (sorry again). But Koron was super patient and in the end, we got it! I learned so much with this project and it was an absolute honor to be able to collab with an amazing violinist. Check him out here: https://www.deviantart.com/lolliponyart Lyrics: (Verse 1) Trapped between two worlds; The land and the sea I watch my life unfurl Right before me Questions fill my head, the choice still remains The sand or the ocean bed Bellow the crashing waves (Chorus) Maybe this place isn't meant for me, I can't find where I belong Should I dive down underneath Or above with the birds and songs (Verse 2) What will my father say And will mother understand If below I choose not to stay But should I stay on land? I could live forever on Harmonizing Heights But the world below whispers, far beneath the brine Questions fill my head, the choice still remains Shall I stay on the ocean bed Either way, I can't escape (Chorus) Maybe this place isn't meant for me, I can't find where I belong Should I dive down underneath Or above with the birds and songs I find it hard to please both of you And I know I can't let you down Someone, please tell me what to do In both worlds, my heart is found (Verse 3) Most nights you'll find me Underneath the moon Alone with my reflection Just wondering what to do If you found a way out Of conflict in my heart Would you help rid me of my doubt 'Cause it's tearing me apart Questions fill my head The choice still remains The sand or the ocean bed My heart is a hurricane (Chorus) Maybe this place isn't meant for me, I can't find where I belong Should I dive down underneath Or above with the birds and songs I find it hard to please both of you And I know I can't let you down Someone, please tell me what to do In both worlds, my heart is found Maybe this place isn't meant for me I can't find where I belong...
