I decided to do something special for this 2 THS year remake. Since this song is so significant to the drama itself. This is the first time I've attempted line-art. Many much layers for this lol.

I have also got back from my wisdom teeth surgery. There will be a week or less where I won't be able to record my voice. I have indeed recorded things prior and I should be fully recovered by the end of June/start of July.

This song was first sung in episode 1 where RD only remembers the first part of the song. She substitutes Dashie for Tanky so she can sing the lullaby to him.

The full lullaby is sung by RD's mother Firefly. The episode with her canon parents had already aired by then, but there was a picture in episode 1 proving otherwise.

But the lullaby has the most significance in this case because it was the same song that Blue Streak composed in the caves whilst she was with Rainbow Dash; shortly after she found out she was her grandmother. It was also the cure to Tank's illness when mashed together with the stone, herb and the elements of grief, created the locket. In doing that, some of Blue's soul got locked in where she became a genie inside the locket. When Celestia performed magic in TCG Episode 1, it gave the genie life. In the caves, Blue thought about what kind of encouraging things she would be singing to her future granddaughter. The last verse especially definitely hits in the feels because she imagines she won't be there for Rainbow forever. *Cues Peacock sobbing in the corner*
