It's been a while since we've had a throwback here on DsL, and while we deem it important not to dwell on the past and appreciate contemporary horse DnB in all its freshness, looking back over your shoulder can be a really rewarding sometimes.

Tonight, we bring Risen's flip of Hay Tea's track Hush Now back from the archives. At a venerable age of 3.5 years, this tune has gathered quite some dust as it has been sitting on the shelf since the original upload's deletion, but even so it does not feel dated at all. With Risen's clean signature sound, shillering arps and the perfect addition of pizzicato strings during the build sections, this track feels very different from the jazzy, laid-back original. The drops envelop you in their euphoric leads for full audio bliss, and a subtle ambience of Fluttershy vocals perfects them to be an experience truly worth reflecting upon years later.
