Practice using Photoshop, Vegas, and Flash. I made the HUD elements in Flash/Photoshop, then put them into Vegas. This was also practice with masking (the invisibility cloak.) I don't expect you to like it, it is just me testing out some new things. I hope to be able to do bigger projects once I improve.
