So this is some of the work I've been doing for the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic based radio-play, "Newsponies"! The cast & crew were just finalized this week and I'll be doing the music along with a couple of other folks. This is a little news jingle I submitted for the audition. There are 2 MLP references in there, one subtle, one not-so-subtle, a no-prize to anyone who can spot them...

Newsponies is a radio-show about the antics of the ponies who work at ENN (Equestrian News Network), one of the largest in Equestria, in their constant struggle to surpass their rival news station, Solar News. It's got a huge cast of characters, with some very different backgrounds and personalities, and quite possibly every single one of them is crazy. In a good way. It is very much an ensemble cast, but much of the plot revolves around a talented snarky investigative reporter named Sports Knight (pictured above!), as well as a hot-tempered, career driven anchorpony named Sunny Weather.
