From our wedding six months ago today on April 27, 2014. Our wedding vows were quirky but heartfelt, and full of shiny nerd references. Behold:

Savannah: I, Savannah.

Patrick: And I, Patrick.

Both: By the power of Grayskull.

Savannah: Vow to be your shiny heart mechanic.

Patrick: Vow to be the captain of your 'verse.

Savannah: And your feisty shield maiden.

Patrick: And your scruffy-looking nerf herder.

Savannah: If you're ever bitten by a vampire, zombie, or reaver, I vow to make your end quick and painless.

Patrick: And if anything happens to you, anything at all, I swear to you...I will get very choked up.

Savannah: I vow to assist in your quest to thwart the Dark Lord Sauron.

Patrick: And to deliver you from dragons, balrogs, and other foul creatures from the dark places of the world.

Savannah: I vow to lift your burdens in our travels through time and space.

Patrick: And should you ever have a burden that's too hard to bear, know that I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you.

Savannah: It won't be quiet, it won't be safe, it won't be calm.

Patrick: But it will be the trip of a lifetime.

Savannah: I vow to share the power of love.

Patrick: And the magic of friendship.

Savannah: From this day forward.

Patrick: Until the final phase of the Human Instrumentality Project.

Savannah: May the Force be with us.

Patrick: Till all are one.
