I've added a new enemy to the game; it's an orange enemy that can fire bouncing fireballs. I'm pretty proud of that addition to the game, how it looks, and the gameplay it adds---it's harder to predict where the fireball is going to be, and it can bounce a long way across floors. I'm starting to think I can do a better job attracting artists to the game if I add friendly NPCs and a rudimentary dialog system to the game, so at the moment, that's my plan for the next step. Probably after that it'll be either adding "pacer" enemies that have actual collision-detection with walls and floors, or adding graphical customization to the existing enemies.
