I've added another feature to the WFM Level Editor and Game Engine, more specifically, I've added a feature to the dialog system: the ability for the level designer to add multiple faceplates per speaker, be it an NPC or a playable character. Now the dialog can have images of different emotional expressions, with the characters showing whatever emotions you care to set up---they can be as simple or as complex as you like: you can keep it as simple as Happy/Sad/Angry/Afraid, or make more complex expressions like laughter, Suspicion, Pride, Apology, Embarrassment, Gasping---you name it, you can do it! Of course, the more elaborate you want to make it, the more work you need to put into it. But now, it can be done! What's next on the horizon...well, the next feature I want to begin working towards is projectile attacks, but before I can reach that goal, I'll need to add the ability to have multiple animations per behavior for the custom NPCs, so that you can see, for instance, an enemy drawing a gun or slashing with a sword before (or while) performing an attack. Before I can work on that, though, I plan to work on some G-5 fanfiction, finish up a project involving the animation of Celestia's tail and mane, and---this is a kicker---make a video explaining my vision for the game, and calling for help in continuing to develop it.
