Samuel Miller (a.k.a. Professor Equine), a doctoral student from the University of North Dakota, has been studying the gender implications that Bronies pose to social norms. While the initial shock value of Bronies has dissipated, the question still remains; Are Bronies finally able to go beyond the safety of the stable? If so, what does this mean for gender studies?
