Hello wastelanders! Here's a bit of a quickie song as I'm settling into my new computer. Obviously, one of the big reasons I got into MLP was because of the music. And boy did the "Christmas in May" Hearth's Warming special really go crazy with that. Definitely in my Top 5 Christmas Carol renditions. This was probably my favorite song from it, and so I was really just looking for an excuse to sing it, and there were a few spoken parts I had to write around too. Because I don't like just doing straight covers, lyrics are kind of my thing, so I gave it a Fallout: Equestria spin! In the midst of the war, a mysterious traveler appears in Princess Luna's evening court, and deliver's this dire warning... That it is too late to stop the coming storm... For I have been sent a vision of things to come. Have you seen it as well? Well then you must listen to me, because the hour grows closer and closer. And it will not wait for any of us… not even you. I see the flashes in the sky, Above, below, they start to flee, I see glimpse of final light, A path once never meant to be The future should be filled with magic Dreams and wishes, brought to life But the days ahead are dark and tragic When hope is lost among the strife Whatever might have been All the dreams you might have shared Because of you and this Great War Now the future is a cold nightmare! “I know you have done all you can. But there is no turning back. It is no longer a matter of if, but when. That is how you must prepare…”
