So as soon as I heard "Mad Mares" for the first time, I obviously loved it, but I also remembered the awesome hard rock version of "Mad World" that Evergreen Terrace did.  And I thought to myself I wonder if someone made an awesome instrumental like that, that I could use it for a "Mad Mares" rock cover.

Then it happened.  :D  The fun part was, the instrumental included a third verse so I still got to put a few of my own lyrics in it!
