Happy Hearth's Warming, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year everyone! This is something I've wanted to do for a while... During my first venture into Fallout: Equestria Christmas music, the full “Nuclear Winter Wonderland” special wasn't animated completely. The animation cuts off in (what I think is) an unfortunate place, because it stops before the warm and upbeat resolution to my tongue-in-cheek, "Christmas at Ground Zero" inspired parody. Then, “Jingle Belle Rock!” was prepared and planned as I was expecting it to be fully animated and realized when it was written in September of that year. It was supposed to cut back and forth between the pre-war concert with Baritone and Sweetie Belle, and the current day Winter Gala in Tenpony Tower. The current day version (as alluded to in the original Mr. New Pegasus opening to Jingle Belle Rock!), was supposed to feature a big battle scene where raiders bust their way into the dance hall while they’re partying. SteelHooves dialogue about finally agreeing to go to the dance happens after he looks at the moon and seeing that it's full. He joins them, anticipating the full on raider battle that happens (which is a payoff for that line from NWW). It's why he has that last line after the radio gets blown up at the end of JBR... But that animation completely fell through as well... A lot of work and effort from many parties went into both specials. I had a lot of fun writing them both, but unless you downloaded and listened to them, they’ve gone unnoticed. So, this is my way to correct that, by putting both full specials back-to-back in one video on my channel for the holidays. I wish they could have been fully realized as animations at Stable-Tec, but regardless I am grateful for all the wonderful fans and supporters that I’ve had over the years. Hopefully you enjoy listening to them as much as I enjoyed making them.
