Happy September everypony!

You didn't think I'd get through this month without doing Tombstone's hauntingly beautiful song, did you?  OF COURSE NOT!

This is a little rewrite I've had on my mind for a while...  I came away from the song forming my own head-canon on what the relatively vague lyrics were getting across.  I know there are fanfics about it, but this has nothing to do with those... this is my story.

I came away thinking that we weren't dealing with a psychopath being temporarily knocked-sensible from his own actions, but a multiple-personality where the Mr. Hyde character is temporarily quieted as our Dr. Jekyll wakes in amnesia to the abominations he has created.  There's more detail to this little tale I'm telling, but you'll have to wait to get a better picture... ;D

You won't have to wait long though, because it is Nightmare Month!  Where I should *hopefully* have something fun and appropriate coming out each week (unless school says otherwise).
