2 years ago today, on the 5th of July 2015, I recorded my first ever UTAU voicebank.
It was pretty rough - it was recorded in about 20 minutes with my laptop microphone and quality wasn't a huge concern for me at the time, but it sang just fine in UTAU. And that voicebank - Ally and Anna's first CV Japanese voicebank - started me on my UTAU journey which has lasted for two years to this day!

Okay, I'll stop all the gooey, sappy reminiscing now. But woo! Ally and Anna have officially been around for two years today! So, to celebrate, this is the demo for their new VCV Japanese voicebank (don't worry; I'm not going with a super-fancy name this time)! I thought that First Sound would be a fitting song to celebrate with.

We seem to have come very far in the past few years - Ally and Anna's original and Razzle Dazzle CV voicebanks both have over 100 downloads each, as does Mitzi's! I'm sure that's not a patch on the DL count of most banks, but for me that's a huge achievement. I hope you all continue to enjoy using these voicebanks as much as I have done!

(Also, I updated UTAU on my computer yesterday and it kinda buggered up the oto recognition, so I switched the oto encoding to ANSI. So... just watch out for that?)
