Hello again! I was invited to join a collab by Para Collaboration, another remarkable PMV collab group.

For this PMV part, I wanted to experiment more with 3D and shadows, especially shadows since I work mostly with 2D motion graphics. Shadows in AE feels a little finicky, especially adding in other effects and transitions on top of it. I separated the layer and its shadow as separate layers so I could provide better control between both of them, basically identical layers but one of them displaying only its shadow while the other only displaying itself.

I once again dove into trigonometry for the swirly streaks where you see the rest of the Mane 6 fly in. I absolutely LOVE how math I learned back in school helped me in animating, and I got to really push myself to the limits with the flying streaks I did for A New Pair of Wings.
