So we've had some time for season 6 to set in, and it's been interesting, but not really in a positive way. There have been a lot of episodes with really weird choices as far as writing goes, and while I scoff at the idea that MLP should be this deep, meaningful show, it seems like they've been missing a lot of opportunities to even do things that would be fun for the kids. Lots of exposition, softballing repercussions, and a heavy use of modular scenes to pad out episodes that are barely using their time to do anything.
