I decided to get away from controversial subjects for real this time, so today I talk about "power creep". It appears in and is spoken most about in popular media, like video games or television. Basically, you have a character forced to endure more and more trials, and as he completes them in turn, the writers have to escalate things further and further. However, this also happens in real life with military advancements, business, and government. I don't get very political - mainly just musing about the concept.
