It's an hour-long lecture about the development of psychology in the past up to today, complete with anecdotes and some talk about a few studies. In the last video I worried I was maybe too neutral, so I tried to take a slightly more defining stance here to establish what I'm really trying to drive home. The important thing to take home from this video is that psychology has an illustrious history of fraudulence, sensationalism, and terrible research methodology. Until recent years, it was almost a form of mysticism, and it strangely created more problems from thin air than it often solved, but we're moving forward and starting to understand how problems actually affect people in a practical manner.
