Somebody popped into the art stream and asked me if I'd do a video about this a few days ago! This is actually something the media has been doing for a long time. It's gotten popular on social media to complain it doesn't happen, but there's a certain amount of blindness and confirmation bias when people are spreading pessimism. Social progression in media basically means representing minorities or otherwise lesser known groups in a way that acclimates the viewers to thinking of them in a broader fashion, and when it's done well most people won't even notice it's being done at all.
