As a result of a recent policy change from Youtube, we've decided to put together a video that describes some basics of copyright and trademark law, as well as addressing how those laws come up on Youtube and also how they don't. The actual system Youtube uses is complicated, dangerous, and full of mines, and things are getting worse, not better. Hopefully this video will provide some reasonable insight to anyone interested regarding recent events.
