This piece of music is inspired by Princess Celestia from the television series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It was rehearsed by various musicians from Ithaca College in 2017 and 2019 through Cornell's club for undergraduate music composition, Contrapunkt.

The piece is divided into 3 movements: Fanfare, Storge, and Duality. The first movement explores the all-powerful literally-controls-the-sun ruler side of Princess Celestia. The second movement explores the kind, loving side of Princess Celestia as she serves as a motherly figure over all of Equestria. The final movement fuses the themes of both sides together.
