What happened to Applejack that made her into the Pony she is today?

In my second video, I take an in-depth look into her past as well as her family relationships to discover her motives and her ideology.  I've had great respect for her character, so I've always been a little puzzled whenever I see that she doesn't get as much attention as the others of the Mane Six.

So, after 2 days and 10+ hours of work, here's my hope that we can gain a greater appreciation for her character.
