It has been an awful long time! As it often happens my life has become much busier than I had thought.

Anyway: I really enjoyed the MLP Movie when it came out and I had been meaning to cover this song for almost half a year. The vocal recording has sat on my computer since around then but I have only very recently found the resolve to finish the song. Hopefully it is good and my lack of time to really perfect it does not show!

The image I've chosen is of Twilight because:
1) Twilight is second-best horse (second to Starlight)
2) I don't really like Rainbow (see 1))
3) In many ways the song is a call of encouragement and though the original is as boisterous and infectious as Rainbow is, I think my take is slightly more mellow and to my mind, it fits Twilight better.
