This video can be seen as my answer to the best operating system to produce music with: none - without a computer. Of course this isn't a serious way to produce music but the idea is actually pretty nice. For that you might need a sequencer with several MIDI outputs, e.g. the Yamaha QY700.
What I'm doing here is basically the same thing I do in software. But in software I have a larger mixer. And a better timing. And a better editing. That is why this track is rather unspectacular.
