Hey guys! It's been a while but I'm back with more original music! I think this is my first Trixie-song ever! The song is purely instrumental and is based heavily on Protest the Hero's music. So of course there's a lot of tapping and leadish riffs going on at one side (Luke's style, left) whilst the other side is more accompanying lower end riffs (Tim's style, right). This is pretty much the first song I made ever where the left and right guitars are different most of the time, giving a pretty wide feeling IMO. It's also the first song I wrote in a guitar pro-esque program called TuxGuitar (so I've been writing down everything before actually recording it). This actually started because I kind of lost inspiration and wanted to get some out-of-the-box ideas. I think it turned out pretty sweet. Also, I got me a copy of BIAS by positive grid a couple days before it was released and wanted to do a song with it. So all guitars and bass amplifier sounds you're hearing are BIAS (hi-gain guitars are of course boosted with a TS808 overdrive clone). I think it sounds pretty amazing. For the people who want to know which models i used: Left: Mesa/Boogie Rectifier model Right: EvH 5150 mkII model Clean: Matchless DC30 model Bass: Orange AD200b model These are all stock presets with only small adjustments made. There's also barely any post-EQ going on. Cleans have a little delay and reverb from guitar rig. Anyways enough tech talk, enjoy the song!
