I've got probably my last DJ gig at school while still a student. I thought I'd go out with a bang by doing a full light show as part of it. This is the result of playing around with Traktor, Ableton, and QLC+ for quite a while. Ableton is synchronized with Traktor by receiving a MIDI clock signal from Traktor. Ableton has multiple MIDI clips that I trigger with my Launchpad. That MIDI data goes to QLC+, which maps that to the various parameters of my DJ lights. The hardest part was figuring out how to get QLC+ configure properly to do what I wanted it to do, which was manipulate certain parameters on my lights based off of MIDI values. Once I did figure it out, it wasn't that hard to get everything synced together.
