I'm so unsure of what I should do
My hope it is fading away?
I'm on my own now; my friends are all gone
The harmony's silent today

But into the stillness I'll ignite a spark
And all of their memories, keep

Once did a pony who knew not of friendship
Look up from her studies and sigh
She frowned and she said, "Surely, there's something missing
which withholds the secret of magic from I"

So great was her magic, so full was her mind
That she never thought about friends
Which fell dark upon the deep studies she loved
And grew only darker time neared it's end

Sleep my dear friends, you'll have peace for all time
And rest now in starlight's embrace
Bear up my lullaby, as elements lie

And hope that the magic lives on

Soon did that pony take notice of others
She'd had time for work but no play
And she needed some friends, as she soon would learn
She did but was fated to watch them all fade

But such is the way of a lifetime, it sweetly
Takes hold over all its hosts
And that lonely pony lived on as she watched
The destruction of those whom she'd once been so close
