Howdy everypony!

New PMV is out! Woohoo! This one is a tribute to the S5 premiere and especially those 4 new "team members" who helped the mane 6 at the end, Night Glider, Double Diamond, Party Favor and Sugar Belle.

When they joined the group, I couldn't help getting a J-RPG vibe from it, seeing them as new companions who will fight alongside you to the end and travel with you to the edge of the world, sharing many campfires along the way. I love J-RPGs a lot, so I decided to make some parts of this PMV as if it was all part of a J-RPG, re-creating in-game animations and menus by hand. That is what took me the most of time, but then again I always loved to craft and include such tributes to my favorite games in the videos that I create. Tell me if you can spot the references!

Also, when those 4 new characters had a lovely group hug at the end, I saw them as a new "mane 4", who shared a (newfound?) bond similar to the mane 6. I'd definitely love it of they would get another appearance and storyline in further episodes!

The songs that I used, "Salamander" and "Milkyway", were both composed by Daisuke Achiwa for the Soundtrack of Atelier Ayesha. "Salamander" is one of the regular battle tracks from the game, while "Milkyway" is the victory theme during the battle results.
