This is the first real preview of the Sunset Shimmer Show, a piece of musical fanfiction set in an alternate timeline of Rainbow Rocks, who's last release was exactly one year ago. Time to break this slump.

This song is the precursor to Don't Let The Sun Set, which will definitely be getting redone as my skill has improved in the past year.

Relieved of her crown, now her demon's unbound,
And completely, she's drowned till her breakdown ensues

But the six before her, quick combine sources,
Divine forces blind her eyes, harmonize her discourses,
Like a sword they slice her, can't fight it,
Now, she's been thwarted

She needs to realign, but her pride can't afford it,
Tears in her eyes, her history's recorded,
And she fears she'll never get to restore it

You may ask how I know this all
Right down to the detail, I watched her fall
I wasn't with the new kid, or the school she freed,
The bad girl in this story was me
