I just finished the third book in the Wax & Wayne era of the Mistborn books by Brandon Sanderson, and felt inspired. Seriously great books! If you've read them, imagine the gang shooting up a party. If you haven't read them, go do it, you'll thank me later.

I'd love to know in a comment if you think I nailed the mood and style of the books, or if it feels off to you.

When I'm running out of inspiration, I sometimes imagine how I'd compose the soundtrack for a TV/movie adaptation of a story I've read. This is just one of many I've done for different novels, but this time I managed to turn it into a full finished piece. That's also the reason for the drastically shifting themes and moods, it's more like a soundtrack suite than a standalone piece.
