Read this if you still care at all about this channel
So yeah I decided to make a YTPMV again.
The reason why I'd suddenly do this after three years is that I discovered Melodyne, and I wanted to try using it to see if it was any good for YTPMVs. So now, instead of pitch shifting completely by ear (and failing miserably, I admit), I have the actual pitch of both the song and the samples; I'll leave you to be the judge of the result.
No BGM, which is also a first for me.
Will I carry on making more YTPMVs now ? Maybe. The free trial for Melodyne expires in thirty days, so it depends a lot on if I can find a way to "buy" (heh) the full version or not. Another thing that's been stopping me is that I really haven't had any good ideas for a now video (This one is in fact a remake of one I did ages ago, and deleted). If you want you can suggest ideas (mainly for the samples), maybe I'll like one. I want to mainly use Touhou music, since they're quite good for YTPMVs. Whether or not I'll carry using on MLP samples isn't decided yet : I haven't been keeping up with it at all, so I haven't watched season 5 or anything, so my ideas won't be very fresh. Plus, does anyone even care about MLP any more ? I'm honestly pretty neutral towards it. But we'll see; maybe I'll just use anything, or maybe I'll get around to watching it some day.
Now for a completely different topic : things that aren't YTPMVs. Over the past two years, I've been uploading Touhou videos, which nobody gives a flying fuck about. Didn't stop me though. However, in a future update, I'll be able to upload replays of Super Smash Bros, which I'll then be able to edit, etc. The question is, should I upload them here, or make another account for them ? I don't really care either way, so go ahead and suggest what you think would be best.
