Finally got my computer fixed. It's good to be back, right? It turns out that running a lap top 24/7 on a tablecloth is bad Ju-Ju.

Vocally, I had a hard time with it. I tried to keep up with Taylor in the same octive, and thought about scrapping this completely so that I could transpose it lower, but I decided to just make it work.

That guitar solo, however short, crawls all over the fret board. I'm not a good soloist, but my Jackson Dinky is a huge improvement from the LTD ESP.

The bass isn't cooperating with me. Certain notes come out way loud while the rest are at normal levels. I don't know why that is, but when I'd set an automation to make it quieter, the sound would fluctuate so much that I just left it alone. I've tried to run a compressor, but it's got a funky deal going on with the active pick ups, so the buzzing gets put front and center. Certainly undesirable.

I need to tweak my snare drum. I want it to sound bigger. Louder isn't better as I found. On the next song, I'll tweak the EQ on it and see if I can get a huge sound out of it.

Anywho, this is the other cover that I wanted to do. I should be able to do a ponified version of Unanswered by Suicide Silence. Yeah, pony death-core for the win, right?
