My take on David Weber's world called Grayson (http://honorverse.wikia.com/wiki/Grayson_%28planet%29) based on what I have learned about it: A world where country music would become an official genre. I imagine that they would eventually establish ensembles resembling symphonic orchestras but there would be some elements in the music which should give away the country. My approach was in the melody, relatively simple harmonic progressions, and the choice of additional instruments -- guitars and a jazz organ.

A work in progress. The melody might change a bit, string samples could be tweaked a bit more, and the dynamics could be a bit boosted but there's always stuff to improve :-)
