This song is based on Starlight not being able to to get rid of her "evil" past and how some ponies won't notice her because she's not part of the 'mane 6". But inside of trying to please them, she just becomes happy in her own skin.

Now this song has some real life ties as well. I've learned throughout my years on youtube/in this fandom that there are people in this community that tend to focus on the number rather than the person. I've been ignored time and time again because my sub count wasn't big enough. This song is my response to those people. This is an anthem to loving yourself and your craft, no matter what anyone says.
