Hey! Xeri is back with another track, I guess. This track and I had a sort of love/hate relationship over the past month. Trying out a new genre with some new software, (I’ve used Serum before, but not with Mac commands) so it was quite interesting in itself just to get this project even off the ground from the first melody. In the end, it turned out pretty okay. Okay enough to Land itself on Never Say Neigh’s roster at least!

Story: The elements are dead and gone, the six friends Twilight made, she buried a long time ago. Immortality was a dreadful thing, when you finally realize what it entails. Watching those closest to you catch the disease of age and suffer the inevitable ending most all shall face. Death. Her mental state has greatly weakened since the deaths of her friends, to a point  where even evil forces who were kept at bay by the princess’ abilities and strengths came to test the boundaries. There is one though, buried deep in the dimension of Tartarus, who seeks vengeance and another chance to take the world by its horns. The dark embodiment of the Pony of the Shadows. Strengthened in the time the wisps of black magic lost its need for a host. With the elements gone, Twilight at her weakest, the other four princesses (Flurry Heart is a thing) are all that can stop it. But attempts are futile, and they all fall, power lost to the gaping jaws of the demonic presence. All that stands in it’s way now is a purple alicorn, far from her prime…
