Ima share something about me with you guys...I find the whole christmas spirit thing overly ridiculous and saddening. I'm not entirely sure why (probably just my apathetic nature to alot of things) but when I see people covering their lights in fancy LED's In the most cutthroat competition since the Cold war water polo match I think I die a little inside. To me, everything overly "Christmassy" is just another persons attempt to outdo their neighbour and they seem to be forgetting about the whole meaning of the holiday. That is the reason i love songs like this and play them at Christmas instead of all the run of the mill carols, Because they seem to both bring the whole idea back down to earth and poke fun of it in a light hearted manner and make me enjoy the lead up to the holiday. Now if you will excuse me I am off to go watch my favourite christmas movie, Die Hard.
