A half-vip mix, half-sequel to Best Friends.
I really enjoyed making the original Best Friends but I always felt like it didn't really live up to its potential, or my skills as a producer. Every time I listened to it I had all sorts of ideas for how I could improve or change it. This is the result.

I wanted to experiment with complex melodies, chords, and layering different synths for this project. Most of my past songs have had very simple instrumentation, so this has been an experiment to see how far I can push myself out of my comfort zone. I'd like to think it turned out pretty good - I'm especially proud of the piano.

The original only had Silverstream on the thumbnail/albumart, and while I do think the song fits her personality well, this time I really wanted to capture the essence of friendship and togetherness. 

Layl did not assist in the production of this, only the original. Regardless, this song would not exist in any form without them.

According to FL Studio, I spent 82 hours in this project file. I rendered a total of 20 work-in-progress snapshots.
