Deep inside her head, the colours of her thoughts were made clear, blurring into lines that disappeared toward the horizon of her mind. She reached out, holding one of the many surrounding shapes in her mental grip. An old stuffed animal, long since destroyed or lost, from her childhood days. Suddenly she was overcome with emotion, losing control of her dreamlike construct and being flung far into her reverie. After a few nauseating minutes her vision settled on a blue crystal heart, levitating and rotating slowly between ice-like prongs that caressed it like a magnet.

It gave off love, and refracted it against her heart.
