You all know the story, Cheerilee and I dated in high school. Well a little known part of that story is in 1989 when this song was released, I sang it for her at the Karaoke nights we would go to.

So I thought I would break it out and send it as a long distance dedication. Across the expanse of the dimensions from Earth to Equestria. Miss you Cheerilee.

"Angel Eyes" by The Jeff Healey Band, released in 1989 and reached #5 on the US charts. When you think you cant do something, that the walls blocking you are too high or too thick to over come. I want you to look at Jeff Healey.

His eyes were taken by cancer at 1, completely removed and replaced with artificial eyes. It did not stop him from becoming one of the best blues guitarists to ever pick up the instrument. Playing across his lap and using all 5 fingers on the neck he revolutionized the way the instrument could be played.

He acted in the movie "Roadhouse" with Patrick Swaze, and he also had a syndicated radio program based in Toronto called My Kind of Jazz. He could read records with his fingers from just feeling the grooves.

Sadly he died in 2008 from cancer, but his music lives on. I highly suggest you look it up, you will not be disappointed.
