Here it is! I’m finally done with a song for one of my very favorite ponies: Applejack!

This is a song heavily inspired by “The Cutie Mark Chronicles” episode. It’s about Applejack realizing that while Equestria is completely open to her, a life back at home with her family and friends is where she feels she belongs. I personally believe that she is a mare who because of her hard work, she could’ve gone on to do something huge out there in Equestria, but to stay back at home with those she loves and find true happiness there instead skyrocketed my respect for her.

…so I wrote a song about it! XD

I wrote this song quite awhile back and it was featured on Equestria Daily’s “Applejack Appreciation Day” last October, but I never got around to recording a full-band version until now.

Hope you guys like this one. It’s far from perfect, but I had a lot of fun writing and recording this tune. Be sure to let me know what you think!
