~Nota Bene: This is primarily an Opening, then a PMV, THEN you can complain about my singing if you so wish.~ I feel like a background story is in order. You know what that means! Time for a wall of text! (yay) When I watched the opening video for the Japanese dub of MLP I thought, "Hey! The timing on this is unsettling (for me at least) but DAT SONG! I must do something about this!" but then there came the problem that the original lyrics seemed to 1- be in Japanese (duh) and 2- be translated to either a lovey-dovey feel or a weirdly good friendship (see "This pounding in my heart is the first sign..." etc. etc.) so I gave it a miss. Enter AwkwardMarina who did made an English dub ( see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2e-z1HOgDhQ ) but left some connection between the lyrics of her dub and the original song. However, no matter how AMAZINGLY she sang it, it seemed a bit too show-orientated for what I was looking for ("I'm saying HI HI HI! to My Little Pony..." among other things) Now you are stuck listening to my fabulous voice which totally sounds amazing when the mic listens in on me... For the record: I did 'borrow' some of AwkwardMarina's lyrics and tweaked some others to suit my needs. If this makes me a terrible person then I am most sorry but some of the lyrics she came up with were brilliant and I just couldn't top them.
