Dubstep invades Ponyville and many ponies have just had their fill of it and are furious by their sleepless nights and vibrating buildings. Applejack in particular says enough is enough and burns down the local danceclub right outside her farm early one morning. She accidentally sets off a musical backlash that affects all corners of Equestria with dj's fleeing for their lives as mobs of ponies protest against EDM. This track is of course a ponified version of The Smiths classic track. Enjoy. Andante Skie did the great vocals for this track. Thanks for making a new glam rock anthem come alive. https://www.youtube.com/user/AndanteSkie The drums and bass are done by Johnny Mare who helped truly launch this project too by working on the instrumentals for many of our songs. https://www.youtube.com/user/johnnymare I am Freewave who did the guitar portions, part of the ending background vocal, mixing, mastering, and organizing of this project. I'm here https://www.youtube.com/user/thefreewave Luna Jax put together a quick outro group vocal with us so hats off for him for adding the mob vocal at the end! https://www.youtube.com/user/lunajaxmusic Art credit goes to by mon-petit-hae http://mon-petit-hae.tumblr.com/post/79382515351/gotta-come-prepared-sfw-version Loved the Applejack in front of a blazing inferno art they did and it fits well. Ponified Lyrics: Panic on the streets of Los Pegasus Panic on the streets of Canterlot I wonder to myself Could life ever be sane again On the Ponyville side-streets that you slip down I wonder to myself Clouds may rise up to Cloudsadale But Pinkie Pie, you're not safe here So you run down To the safety of your town Because there's Panic on the streets of Fillydelphia Baltimare, Trottingham, and Manehatten I wonder to myself Burn down the Disco Hang the blessed DJ Because the dubstep that they constantly play IT SAYS NOTHING TO ME ABOUT MY LIFE Hang your blessed D.J.'s Because the music they constantly play The Everfree Radio that you complain about the Equestrian Daily you can't live without Hang the DJ., Hang the DJ., Hang the DJ.,etc **No dj's were harmed in the making of this song.*** Don't take its msg so seriously ;) Although sometimes one event can set off a vicious chain reaction. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disco#Backlash_and_decline "Panic" is a song by the British indie band The Smiths.
