This is the clearer version, first cut of this PMV had an additional effect, which I removed as it made it far harder to tell what's going on.

I tried to keep this dark atmosphere throughout, I had to toy around with contrast for pretty much every scene to make sure it isn't too bright or dark, you are the judge to see how that well turned out!

YouTube's compression doesn't help though, I should have uploaded in 1080p, that seems to help it, even if the video itself isn't 1080p it seems YouTube just handles its compression better at that setting no matter what.

Originally I wanted to make a PMV that was far more subtle with video effects, I wanted to make a video on some kind of Midwest Emo/Emo-Pop/Post-Hardcore song, where I'd put more emphasis on scene selection, but then I discovered this song and I just couldn't imagine approaching this specific song that way, I still tried hard to pick scenes I usually don't pick and intentionally avoided certain Pinkie Pie scenes (expect for Yakety Six, as that is still new material I haven't done to death lol)

Maybe we'll have a Post-Hardcore song next time? I really wanted to do some Thursday, Understanding In A Car Crash, we'll see!

Either way, this PMV made me really feel that passion I felt when I made other videos years ago. It's just really good to be back.
