Read on for ramblings This was me just testing another method for motion capture. The only thing is, I couldn't be bothered cleaning up some arm jitter or smoothing the movements, but oh well. This was just a test, as I already stated. The new Gordon Freeman model looks superb, even if he resembles a melting waxwork. It's still as accurate to the HL2 official artwork as any other model yet. It still has a few great problems, though. The ass has two massive holes in the mesh, which cause his ass and legs to mess up at the back when animated. His fingers are very messed up. Moving their positions causes him to contract boneitis. And not essentially, his facial expressions are very limited both in size and variety. As a source engine tinkerer myself, I can appreciate how hard it is to do finger bones and perfect rigging for this engine. Kudos to the DP Films, but I think Two Men and a Crowbar will be sticking with OneManShow's cartoony Gordon.
