Another original song, this time about our band (in character). After the failed siege, changelings (those who survived) tried frantically to escape capture, scattered as they were throughout Equestria. Some went back to the hive, some tried merging into towns, and our singer simply ran as far as she could. After a few sleepless nights she collapsed and was captured, only to find that her captors were actually changelings in disguise. These changelings had the idea to form a band, as a means of gaining love and attention (hiding in plain sight). All they needed was a singer. Hungry and cold, but now in the company of friends, our singer agreed. Survivors of the Siege was born. To download the song, go to reverbnation, to buy it go to bandcamp. Authorities ask the public to report strange activity or behavior, and to remain vigilant. Fleeting images, before my eyes they pass, Broken bones, bleeding on the grass While I'm healed of all but the phantom pains The memories still remain And I'm blessed since I crawled away Though the hunter is now the prey Though the hunger my will betrays I've lost all that I've ever loved But lived to suffer another day I change my form to hide my scars I keep running, don't know how far The visions haunt me, by day I fake reprieve But at night, they're all I see My sisters, my brothers, They're falling, they're falling, Into the ground Screaming, they're crying, Their voices are fading, Then there's no sound I'm sobbing, I'm waking, The moon is spectating I run to a new town. It's been weeks now, oh how the panic lasts Us and them, caught in frantic dance I avert my eyes, they scrutinize my frame They don't ask, I don't give a name They keep catching us, or so the newscasts say Broken by hunger, the weak from safety stray Their fate I share, but with delay Even now I waste away My vision blurs, my stomach churns I crack and falter, cue despair My world is fading, I'm well aware As I fall I utter one last prayer For the survivors, the few there are For those fallen, watching from afar If I must join them, I pray for dignity Instead my nightmares, are all I see My sisters, my brothers, They're falling, they're falling, Into the ground Screaming, they're crying, Their voices are fading, Then there's no sound I'm sobbing, I'm waking, The moon is spectating Looks like I've been found. Changelings, they greet me They clothe and they feed me They say I'm safe and sound They trust me completely For their plan they need me I promise to stick around
