Princess Celestia fails to challange Queen Chrysalis as the barrier outside is breaking. She then informs Twilight and her friends to retrieve The Elements of Harmony, the most powerful magical defense that Equestria has to offer. Along the way, Twilight and her friends fight off the massive horde of changelings on their way to the magic vault. The changelings, however, beat them to it, en masse. In turn, Twilight and her friends are captured.
