The stupid internet wouldn't tell me the exact composer of the piece. Even though it is just a heavily orchestrated version of "Gourmet Race" composed and arranged by Jun Ishikawa (famous VG music composer BTW). So to reiterate, I can't find out who rearranged "Gourmet Race" into it's orchestral format featured in this video and known by all as "Fountain of Dreams". However, If any of you know VG history you'd probably heard of, or remember, the World Tour of the Orchestra named "The Smash Orchestra" (correct me if I'm wrong). They joined up with some other musicians and toured the world holding orchestra concerts of famous Video Game music. It was at the Rosemont Theater in Chicago I believe where the song "Fountain of Dreams" was debuted to the rest of the public. Since then the piece has been played in several modern day orchestras from high schools to professionals. See for yourself there's at least a few videos on it. Anyone want to correct or add to my take on the history of the wonderful piece go right ahead. It's a really interesting piece, but unfortunately it's freaking hard to play. When the Project Bones of the composition were under configuration, I did find it pretty difficult to pick out the proper hands and fingering for effective dual hand differentiation into separate tracks. But I'm glad and honored to be the first to do have done it. I hope somebody comes back to me telling me they've been able to play it from my MIDI. It would make my day. Okay here's what on my planned agenda for the next few weeks. I will be posting "Final Bowser" (with newly defined differentiation) tonight (Lord-willing). After that is "King of Swing", then "Awoken" and "Luna" (both an instrumental version as well as a vocalized and simplified version). These I cannot even get an estimate on as I have fallen behind in school. So maybe not even for a couple for weeks. At least that can be said for Awoken and Luna, King of Swing should be done by the end of this week. After all those are said and done, I will 'finish' "September" since I got at least a dozen requests for that one. (Note if any of you have any idea on transcribing "September" I would really appreciate a PM or email from you so We can work together on some of it. Those stupid stringed instruments in the song really suck because while they are synthesized, it won't sound like it at first. So it really takes some good listening and filtering skills which I am apparently lacking in at the moment. So again, all help that is beneficial is much obliged. (If it's a lot of help I'll even throw in a free copy of Bioshock 2 on steam) Long story short Ibought a three pack by accident and i need to get rid of them. As always, stay posted gents...
