"Strange New World" is one of two times, that a full melody and song have just "come to me" out of nowhere. I was taking a shower before work one day, and started singing this little random melody to myself.
To me, it felt really catchy and special, so I quickly got out of the shower, (not wanting to forget the melody) I grabbed the nearest recording device, and hummed the melody into the microphone to transcribe at a later time. A couple days later, I did a production livestream on YouTube, and those in attendance saw the track's early building blocks begin to form. Once the first full demo was done, I sent it on to Ponies At Dawn, for their Skyward album.
Unfortunately the song didn't make the cut. In the end however, I feel that was for the best, because now I can release it early to you! So on this date, the day of my birth, please enjoy a little gift from me to you, a little melody close to my heart, and endless love for sticking with me through it all!

(P.S. a LOT of new music is coming, I've got a couple small tracks that will be out soon-ish, and almost an album's worth for later on this year. This is it guys...the last season of the show that brought us all together...we're not going anywhere as a fandom, but let's give our best this year, to the cartoon that made us smile!)
