As before, read the description if you're impatient and want to skip straight to the results, or wish to know the sources of the background music. This was initially intended a relatively brief addendum to my last video regarding various properties of the Combo Attack. Ten minutes figuring out why my map kept crashing, an hour recording, maybe two hours editing through Vegas. Nothin' big. Seven hours later, and I had a full-fledged continuation to something I never expected to have a sequel. If there's something that's eluded me about everyone's favorite room-clearing super move by this point, I'll be genuinely surprised. As with my first entry in this apparently two-part series, I do not claim my findings as unwavering truth; merely observation and idle commentary. Music used: AgileDash - Its Always More Fun When The Night Is Young (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06N-lYb0vZc) Derpidety - Soarin Wonder (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4foEuNjua4) suddensharpintakeofbreath - Horsegroove (http://www.furaffinity.net/full/8443188) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uNwbdlL6l8) voodoopony - Winter Has Been Wrapped (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxNB2jyMMUA) === 1) Does prior movement influence the enemy-tracking range of the Combo Attack? A: This is something I neglected to do the first time around, though it wasn't without reason. Due to the oddly sensitive nature of enemy targeting in relation to the Combo Attack's hitsphere, getting reliable results from this test was certainly a challenge. While my timing may not be frame-perfect, I believe the outcomes of this experiment match up with those from the first video. No, prior velocity does not "carry" the hitsphere in front of you, despite occasionally "feeling" like it does sometimes. 2) Can the Combo Attack track moving enemies outside of its' normal range, assuming it was activated when all possible targets were within its' hitsphere? A: Yes. The hitsphere is generated on the frame of input, in accordance with sprite positioning at the time of activation. 3) Does the Combo Attack generate "splash damage" when cleaning an enemy? A: No. Cleaning enemies in this manner (or any other for that matter), does not cause any range-increasing splash damage effect. 4) Does the Combo number influence the hitsphere of the Combo Attack? A: No, the Combo number is completely unrelated to the range of the Combo Attack.
