Greetings, In this video, I take a look at ROBCakeran53's "My Little Dashie" on its technical standpoints as well as briefly share my thoughts on its various receptions. It's also of note that some people may not have gotten attached to the characters in the story for the lack of variation in the story's tone. My theory here is that when the audience can see the characters in a more positive light (as in during times of peace instead of hardship) they can have more time to grow attached to them. That way, when there is loss, it feels much bigger. "My Little Dashie" is comprised mostly of the sad moments within the characters' lives. So some of those reading may have grown numb to the "feels" by the time the ending rolled around. Or because there was never much positive to juxtapose the times of trial, they weren't given a chance to connect with the characters in the first place. Despite this video's length, I'm surprised I didn't have as more to say about this story.
